Constance Caldwell

Connie known (to retro B-movie fans across the country) as a featured co-host on “Off Beat Cinema” (Zelda) for the last 24 years and that airs on Retro TV and WBBZ-TV. On stage, she last appeared in The Cemetery Club (Lucille) at O’Connell & Company; The Graduate (Mrs. Robinson) at Alleyway Theatre. Favorite theatre roles include: House of Bernarda Alba (Angustias) at Buffalo United Artist — Artie Award for Outstanding Ensemble; The Plough and the Stars (Rosie Redmond) at the Irish Classical Theatre; and No Place To Be Somebody (Dee) at New Phoenix Theatre. Other staged productions have included Paul Robeson Theatre, Shakespeare in Delaware Park, Ujima, Road Less Traveled, Pandora’s Box, Buffalo Ensemble Theatre, and the Marquee at the Tralf. With numerous commercial and industrial film work in her files, her most recent professional movie work include “Johnny Gruesome” and ‘Widow’s Point” by Gregory Lamberson (Nancy Anzello); and, “Cold Brook” by William Fichtner (Virginia).
