We LOVE our Volunteers, because we know how valuable they are to us … they have enthusiasm, great ideas, wonderful talent & are pretty much ready to tackle anything! We know there are more of you out there … and we’d love you to join our Volunteer family!!
WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
USHERS – Greet our patrons, offer refreshments, direct patrons to their seats, restroom, etc. Make them feel welcome and “at home”. Clear up aisles/lobby after show. A bonus — a comp ticket for every performance you work so you can see the full show and/or bring a friend.
CAPTAINS – Serve as “Head Usher” — Assign duties to ushers, assure all posts are covered and all duties performed, greet patrons at door and direct to ticket counter, assist ushers as needed with concessions/raffle sales/traffic control, work in conjunction with Stage Manager and Box Office staff.
BOX OFFICE – Sell tickets on day of show, distribute reserved tickets on will call, tally ticket and merchandise/concession sales at end of show. Computer knowledge required. Good math skills. Able to multi-task in a hectic environment. Training provided.
OFFICE – Answer phones, take phone reservations, sell tickets to walk-ins, other related office duties as required. Must have computer knowledge & good phone skills. Current need for someone to work on Wednesdays. Training provided.
LIGHTING DESIGNER/ASSISTANT – Work with Technical Director to help design, hang, set up stage lighting.
SOUND TECHNICIAN/ASSISTANT – Work with Technical Director to assist with sound design, set up and running sound board.
We are always open to talking with individuals interested in all phases of production including: Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, Costumers/Sewing, Poster Distribution, Set Painting.
